A valuation report is a certified appraiser’s written assessment of a property’s market value on a specific date. If you are using the property as loan collateral, ask your bank whether it needs a report and whether it can accept an existing one.
Enter the property address and your contact details in the request form. If the report is for a bank, include the bank’s name and your preferred deadline in the notes. The appraiser will confirm the documents, inspection and expected completion date with you.
If you are considering selling and want an indicative sale price, request a free sale estimate. If your bank asks for a valuation report on a property used as collateral, submit an appraisal request.
